A global, employee-owned engineering consultancy is growing its UK power team and hiring a Power Systems Associate.
You'll run grid code compliance and dynamic studies on transmission, renewable, storage and data centre connections, as owner's engineer rather than contractor.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
You'll run power system studies from concept through to compliance sign-off in DIgSILENT PowerFactory, IPSA or ETAP – load flow, fault level, harmonic and transient analysis.
You'll carry out Grid Code and Distribution Code compliance assessments for new connections, including dynamic stability and RMS studies, and provide protection coordination inputs.
As owner's engineer, you'll own the technical requirements and study reports that go to the client, and you'll be the person asked when the numbers are questioned.
The UK team is small and growing, with a 600-strong US power practice behind it and a clear route to Principal or Associate Director.
