YOUR CAREER
IN POWER T&D

We only recruit in Power T&D, and we genuinely know our stuff – so you spend less time explaining your background and more time looking at roles worth moving for.

WHAT TO EXPECT:
YOUR NEXT MOVE, STEP BY STEP

STEP 1

GETTING TO KNOW YOU

A conversation about you, not just your CV.

We already know the sector, so we can skip the basics and focus on where you want to go next – and what you won't compromise on to get there.

STEP 2

STAYING RELEVANT

We'll only share roles where your background fits, the package works and the move is a real step up.

Many of our roles are never advertised. If nothing fits right now, we'll tell you – and come back when something does.

STEP 3

HELP & ADVICE

We're always available to catch up, and happy to help where we can.

Straight feedback on your CV, salary data for your discipline and region from Grid Index: 2026, and practical career guides – so you know your worth before you make a move.

STEP 4

INTERVIEWS & OFFERS

From interview prep to salary conversations and the offer itself.

We'll help you make clear decisions at every stage – including what to do if a counter-offer lands.

STEP 5

ONGOING SUPPORT

We don't disappear once you've started your new role.

We'll check in to see how it's going, and we're here when you're ready for the next move.

WHY CHOOSE US

You've probably had the call about a role that's vague, irrelevant or badly explained. We work differently – useful conversations, real sector knowledge and roles that fit, supported by market advice and salary data so the move is worth making.

WE KNOW OUR STUFF

Chris and Sam both worked in the sector before recruiting for it.

Whatever your discipline, and whichever network you work on, we understand the work, the terminology and the market – so you won't spend the first call explaining what you do.

WE’RE HONEST

If the market's quiet for your discipline, we'll say so.

If your salary expectations are above what the market's paying for your experience, we'll show you the data and explain why. We'd rather have an honest conversation than make promises we can't keep.

WE DON’T SPAM

If a role doesn't fit your background and goals, we don't send it.

No mass mailouts, no 'urgent' roles you're clearly wrong for and no chasing for a CV we'll never use. We'd rather call less often and make every call worth taking.

WE GENUINELY CARE

Fewer placements than the big agencies – deliberately.

Every candidate gets proper attention, from the first call to the first day, and every role is represented accurately to the client. That's only possible when you're not running at volume.

WHAT OUR CANDIDATES SAY

Chris was professional throughout and followed up with constant communication.

Gabriel A., Candidate

Excellent communication from Sam during the process. He took time to understand my requirements and expectations of a new role and was open and honest throughout.

Sanjay C., Candidate

I have been kept in the loop and updated all the time. They still check on me and how everything is going whilst I work for the company. Absolutely brilliant support.

Kasia K., Candidate

MEET CHRIS

I spent the early part of my career at EDF before moving into recruitment.

From the inside, I often found recruiters who didn't know their stuff. I was misrepresented, put forward for roles that were never going to work, and saw little care for the process or the people involved.

That experience still shapes how I work today. I know how it feels from the candidate's side, which is why I focus on quality, consistency and transparency.

At Marsh RPF, I look after all things delivery – building direct relationships with the candidates and contractors we represent, and making sure things are done properly at every step.
