An established switchgear and substation specialist is hiring a Technical Supervisor to run its HV installation sites.
You'll lead the install teams on 11kV and 33kV projects across the UK while staying hands-on with the technical detail.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
You'll run the day-to-day installation of HV switchgear, protection and substation equipment, mainly at 11kV and 33kV, supervising wiremen, fitters and subcontractors.
You'll own the RAMS, permits and site briefings, check terminations and secondary wiring against the drawings, and hand over to the commissioning team.
The business has decades of specialist experience and now sits within a much larger infrastructure group, so there's a bigger project pipeline behind it.
ABOUT YOU
- You've installed HV switchgear and substation equipment and now lead the team doing it
- You're hands-on with terminations and secondary wiring, not just the paperwork
- You're happy travelling to projects across the UK from a Stoke-on-Trent base
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- Supervisory experience on HV switchgear, protection or substation installations, ideally at 11kV and 33kV
- Confident owning RAMS, permits and site briefings
- Able to check terminations and secondary wiring against drawings
