A Power T&D EPC contractor delivering on the major UK transmission and distribution frameworks is hiring two OHL Design Engineers.
You'll work on 132kV to 400kV overhead line schemes, from feasibility through to detailed design and construction support.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
You'll prepare and check overhead line design deliverables – route maps, profiles, wire clearance diagrams and tower schedules – under the supervision of senior engineers.
You'll also run sag-tension analysis in PLS-CADD. There's a structured path to Senior Engineer with chartership support, on a growing framework pipeline through RIIO-T3, ASTI and the Great Grid Upgrade.
ABOUT YOU
- You have overhead line design experience and want to grow it on major transmission schemes
- You're comfortable working under senior engineers while taking on more responsibility
- You want a structured route to Senior Engineer and chartership
