A Tier 1 infrastructure contractor is growing its Scottish transmission engineering team and needs a Protection & Control Engineering Manager.
You'll lead P&C engineering across every substation scheme on its SP Energy Networks and SSEN Transmission frameworks, reporting to the Senior Engineering Manager.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
You'll lead protection and control engineering across a portfolio of 132kV to 400kV AIS and GIS substations, covering every live scheme on both frameworks rather than a single project.
The role is balanced across the full lifecycle. You'll own P&C design review and technical assurance, client specification compliance, FAT and SAT, and commissioning through to energisation.
You'll be the senior P&C interface with the transmission owners, consultants and OEMs, managing internal and external engineering resource and giving technical input to bids.
There's a multi-year, multi-billion pound pipeline behind the team, and you'll help shape how the P&C function works as it grows.
