A Power T&D EPC contractor delivering on the major UK transmission and distribution frameworks is hiring an OHL Engineering Manager to lead its overhead line engineering function.
You'll hold engineering authority across 33kV to 400kV schemes and lead a team of senior and intermediate engineers.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
You'll hold overall technical accountability for overhead line design outputs across your schemes, and act as engineering authority and signatory on the high-value, technically complex ones.
You'll set the OHL design standards, procedures and quality approach, and provide technical governance from feasibility through detailed design to construction support and as-built.
You'll line-manage the senior and intermediate engineers, oversee the CAD engineers and graduates, and manage resource across concurrent schemes against programme and commercial pressure.
You'll be the senior technical contact for transmission and distribution clients, and lead the technical sections of framework tenders and PQQs as the pipeline grows through RIIO-T3, ASTI and the Great Grid Upgrade.
