A Tier 1 infrastructure contractor is one of five delivery partners on National Grid's £1.2bn ETP overhead line framework.
You'll run your own reconductoring schemes from ECI to handover, with Senior Project Manager roles also open for people already at that level.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
You'll take overhead line schemes from early contractor involvement through construction to handover, owning safety, quality, programme and cost across the lifecycle.
The work is reconductoring and upgrades on existing transmission routes, replacing conductors so the network can carry more power without building new lines.
You'll manage subcontractors, site teams and stakeholders, and run NEC3/NEC4 contract administration on your schemes, including early warnings, change control and compensation events.
There's a clear route from Project Manager to Senior Project Manager and on to Project Director as the framework builds out to 2031.
