A Tier 1 infrastructure contractor is delivering one of the largest transmission upgrades in Scotland's central belt, as sole contractor for the substations and overhead lines.
You'll own a scheme within the programme, from early contractor involvement to handover.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
The programme spans substation extensions and new transformers, a new double-circuit 275kV/400kV overhead line, reconductoring of existing routes to 400kV, and undergrounding of a 132kV route.
You'll run mobilisation, subcontractors and the supply chain, and hold programme, cost, forecasting, risk and NEC3 or NEC4 contract administration on your scheme.
You'll work the access, outage and landowner constraints that set the real programme in Scotland, and hold the interfaces with the workstreams either side of you.
You'll report to the Project Director from a joint project office shared with the client, on an initial five-year term with an option to extend to ten.
